Though the election result is out in Mandya, the debate remains unchanged still the debate over the reason for victory behind Sumalatha and reason for failure behind Nikhil Kumaraswamy is still going on.
ಮಳೆ ನಿಂತರೂ ಮರದ ಹನಿ ನಿಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಮಂಡ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆದು ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಹೊರಬಂದಿದ್ದರೂ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತಲ್ಲದೆ, ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರೇ ಬಹು ಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೊನೆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಮತದಿಂದ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಸುಮಲತಾ ಅವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಗೆಲುವು ಪಡೆದರು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಹಲವರನ್ನು ಕಾಡತೊಡಗಿದೆ.
